All of these books are ones that make me smile and ones that I'll pick up when I need something lighter, something that will make me happy! And I had to add an 11th to the list... Harry Potter! Sure, the series gets darker as it goes on, but the first book always makes me so happy and I love picking it up if I'm ever feeling especially down.

Kristy, great list of books. I'm finding a lot of different answers, this week. I thought, when reading the topic, it meant light as in light reading LOL as in mostly chic lit LOL don't ask me why that's what I thought of.

ReplyDeleteBUT OMG YES TO ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS I COULD REREAD THAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT IT BUT THE ROMANCE IS SO AMAZING AND I LOVE IT AND I JUST CAN'T EVEN AND WHY CAN'T WE ALL HAVE ETIENNES IN OUR LIFES IT WOULD MAKE EVERYTHING SO MUCH BETTER AND STRESS-FREE AND OMG I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AHHH THIS BOOK HAS GIVEN ME INSANELY HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR MY LOVE LIFE AND I'LL PROBABLY END UP WITH SOMEONE I DON'T REALLY LOVE OR IN SOME TOXIC RELATIONSHIP AND I'LL NEVER FIND TRUE LOVE AND THIS BOOK WILL BE THE REASON I SINK INTO A DEPRESSION AND JUMP OFF A BRIDGE OR SOMETHING WHEN I REALIZE THAT.
