Celebrating One Year of Blogging!

Hi everyone! Today is a VERY special day in my world! It's my first blogoversary!!! I am so excited that I have made it one year blogging. I can't believe how fast the time flew by!

Looking at those stats is just insane to me! I was talking to one of my friends yesterday and she was reminiscing about how happy I was when I reached 50 GFC followers, or how excited I had been when I finally put up a Facebook page for the blog. This year has been a roller coaster complete with loop-dee-doops and loop-dee-loops. There were definitely some struggles towards the end of 2012 with school, but I'm glad I decided to take a little break and just get back in the zone. Now I'm ready for 2013 to be absolutely incredible! I'm so excited to see what's in store for A Little Shelf of Heaven this year!

Cover Reveal: Hidden by P.C. & Kristin Cast

Hey guys! I've got some exciting news to share for all you House of Night fans who have not yet seen it! The tenth installment in the series is titles Hidden and is being released October 16th! Today the cover was revealed and I just had to share. My opinions on this series are a bit jumbled, because of how many books there are and how complex the story line is, but all in all, these are really great books. So, without further ado... THE COVER:

What do you think? Personally, I think it's pretty great. I love the fact that Zoe is looking out from behind a tree. It gives a huge air of mystery to an already mysterious looking book. The only thing I'm unsure about is the tattoing all around it. Each book has some of it on the cover, but it's usually a lot more subtle. I like the cover a lot though, and although I need to reread the series before reading this book, I'm super duper excited for its release!

TGIF: Foretold release date!

Hello everyone!

 How's your day going so far? I hope it's going great because....

Isn't it a great thing, Friday? My day is going really great so far. It's my little brother's birthday today and so my mom is making ice cream cake, yummy! I have now passed the 50 follower mark and I'm on my way to meeting my goal of 75 by April 29th (my birthday), so thank you! AND, Richelle Mead just announced that the anthology Foretold, in which she has a short story about Rose and Dimitri visiting his family in Russia has been moved up to be released on August 28th! YAY!!!! Considering it was originally coming out in November, that's big news! The cover was released earlier this week so I thought I'd share that with you as well. I normally don't buy anthologies, but this one looks so great that I HAVE to get it!

So, yeah! It has stories by authors like Richelle Mead, Lisa McMann, Laini Taylor and Meg Cabot. That's super exciting, and I'm really thrilled to find out what the contributed to this book! Okay, so the cover.... GORGEOUS. A little bit depressing, but it's still amazing looking. I actually really like the girl's dress.I know there's been some people saying they think it's ugly but I personally feel that it's perfect for this cover. Going back to the cover in general I think it has such a haunted feel to it, like she just woke up from a really bad nightmare or something. I mean, haunted is probably the look they were going for, so good job on that guys! Plus it's edited by Carrie Ryan which is pretty cool as well.

How excited are you for this anthology! I was jumping up and down when I saw Richelle's post about it, because if you've read the entire Vampire Academy series, you'll know how dramatic a trip to Russia would be for Rose and Dimitri! August 28th... CAN YOU COME SOON PLEASE!?

The Golden Lily Description!

Hello everyone! I had the nice surprise after school today while checking out Richelle Mead's blog... The Golden Lily description is out! Let`s celebrate!

Isn't that exciting!? For any Vampire Academy fans this is BIG. There's just over four months until it's release on June 19th. I'm already trying to plan out if it would be better to go to the bookstore the day it is released or the day after! I`d love to pre-order it but there are too many risks that I am not willing to take... So here's the link to Richelle's blog. If you know the VA series and Bloodlines then hopefully this is something exciting to make you smile if you haven't already seen it.

Sounds exciting doesn't it? I saw somewhere that this book will be a little bit more exciting than the previous, much like how the VA books got more and more suspenseful and exciting as the time went on. If you haven't already read Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, they are the number one book series I would recommend. Give them a try if you'd like!
