For about 6 months now, I've been trying my hardest to trudge through a book that is beloved throughout the book blogging community and the YA book world at large. The entire trilogy has been released, everyone seems to adore them, and I just... can't. Which book exactly?
I started it up a while back and couldn't really get into it, so I put it down. For the past 6 months or so now, I'll pick it up, read a few pages, and get distracted by something else or zone out and just not be able to connect. I tried the other day to read it once more, but nothing still. I just can't bring myself to connect with the story and the characters and the writing. It's becoming quite a pain because I want to read this book to see why everyone raves about it so much, but I just... can't. I don't know if it's a slow start and then picks up or if it's just not for me, but I need your help.
Tell me why I should give Cinder another go. Please, because I'm not going to be able to get into it unless I know it gets better and at this point.. I don't know that. So I'm asking you to please tell me your opinion on this sci-fi novel and help me decide if I'm going to continue reading!
