Tobias and Tris's relationship definitely grows. You see both weakness and strength in both characters especially Tris she definitely is a strong female lead but she'd not invincible even if she pretends to be. She has her judgements that are wrong and many that are right even if she doesn't want to believe it. Thankfully the author doesn't lead you astray with the imperfection of her characters, you can trust what Tris is telling you. I know many people have compared Divergent to Hunger Games trilogy but besides the Districts/Factions and being about a dystopian society I hardly see much similarity. This book involves all parts of their society, showing the good and bad of each faction and examining human nature. If anything its a mixture of The City of Ember, The Giver trilogy and Veronica Roth's own brand of creativeness. While the big mystery was somewhat obvious Veronica didn't spend time dwelling on something I'm sure she knew her readers figured out. She pushed on and it was more about the pursuit and how people's choices can shape many lives. Excellent writing as always.Portugalhttp://somuch2thank4.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
